Already for the fifth time the Group ‘Circus’ organizes the Belgium Open Poker Championships. Last year was a recordyear when 843 players participated in the Main event.
It was Dutch Sijbrand Maal that took home the title and 315.875€ in prize money.
This year the tournament is back with a week packed of poker action. The buy-ins vary from 100+10€ up to 1500+200€ for the Main event and there is even a 10.500€ Heads-Up team event, so there is plenty of choice for everyone.

The Main event had a buy-in of 1500+200€ and is played over 9 days. Day 1 is divided in 4 days, day 2 in 2 days and after that there are 3 more days. So there is very slow structure. See structure HERE. All tournaments are played under the FIDPA rules.
In this unique event teams of 4 persons battle it out against each other, only in heads-up matches. The buy-in is 10.000+500€ per team.
It is a 2-day tournament with 2 starting days and a final day.
You can buy a package in combination with a main event package for the price of 5.125. Look further on this page for more information about these packages.
Together with the hotel Beauregard, that is located in the same building as the casino, we have set-up a
special deal for the BOPC. For the price of 2.500€ you can buy a full package.
This includes: • 1 ticket for the Main Event,
• 6 nights in the hotel + breakfast (till 12am)
• 6 x 3-course menu in the restaurant of the casino.
The price for an extra person on the room, who also benefits from the package deal, is 150€ (or 1.850€ with a main event ticket)

Live Reporting - TV
Each day cashgames will be offered starting at 1pm.
No Limit Hold’Em cashgames with blinds starting from 2-2 till 20-40 (and higher on request) will be offered
Various media will cover the event and on the internet you will be able to follow a live stream of the featured table.The complete event will be recorded and distributed to various TV-stations.
The presentation of the event will be done by Miss Belgium 2006 Virginie Claes.

The 2 nearest airports are: Brussels National Airport (which is located in Zaventem just outside Brussels) http://www.brusselsairport.beFrom here you can go by train to Namen/Namur, a train every hour and ride will take ~1h30 with 1 change.
From Namur train station to casino it is about a 2km taxi ride.
A direct taxi ride from the airport is ~70km and take ~45 minutes. Brussels South airport (which is located in Charleroi, 50km south of Brussels) http://www.charleroi-airport.com You can take a shuttlebus from the airport to the train station (15 min ride) and every half hour during the week and every hour during the weekend you have an direct train to Namur this ride takes ~35min.
From Namur train station to casino it is about a 2km taxi ride.
